Senior Automated Engineer

 

Quality Assurance Automation engineers must develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Their responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. The person in this role will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
  • Run automated scripts and review results on daily basis.
  • Adjust existing scripts to the latest code changes in the product.
  • Assist developers with unit testing and help them with recreating bugs via automation.
  • Create and execute jobs via Jenkins.
  • Manage performance testing: design, run, analyze, and report results.
  • Create and execute API tests manually and via automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and constantly improve Qrvey automation framework.

What you need for this position:

  • 5+ years of working as an automation engineer.
  • Working experience with Selenium, JScript, JMeter, Cucumber, Postman.
  • Working experience with Bitbucket and GIT.
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of analytics concepts, data visualizations, data analysis techniques.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience working with AWS services is a plus.
